Make trading cards for your whole team
Youth league, five-a-side, running club: every roster deserves a card set, and the MVP deserves a foil.
Start the team set →Team card sets are the most reliably loved thing you can make with a card tool: every player gets the rookie-card treatment — photo, position, number, and their actual stats from the season. Hand them out at the end-of-season dinner and watch grown adults compare their cards like it's 1996.
The trick is consistency: one template, the same stat labels for everyone, one team color scheme — and exactly one MVP foil so it means something.
How to do it
Set up the team frame once
Open the Sports template, recolor the accents to the team colors, set the stat labels for your sport (PPG/REB/AST, or Goals/Assists/KMs). Save it as your own template.
One card per player from the saved template
Photo, name, position, number. Because every card starts from the same template, the set stays visually locked.
Use real stats — even silly ones
Goals scored, but also 'Times nutmegged the coach'. One real stat and one joke stat per card is a good ratio.
Crown the MVP with the foil tier
The MVP rarity adds a foil finish. One per set. Team vote optional but recommended.
Print the set at standard card size
63×88 mm on 300+ gsm cardstock, or an online card printing service. Sleeves turn it from paper into memorabilia.
Small things that make it great
- Take the photos at one practice — same light, same angle, pro look
- Keep a 'rookie' rarity for first-season players
- Make a coach card. Legendary. Non-negotiable.
