A card fixes that with almost no setup: your roles become rarity tiers, your inside jokes become stats, and the person who's been modding at 3AM for two years finally gets a legendary.
It also solves distribution for free: a Card Forge share link unfurls into a rich embed automatically when pasted into a Discord channel, so posting someone's card in #general is already the announcement — no bot, no webhook, no permissions to configure.
How to do it
Turn your roles into rarity tiers
New member → common, regular → uncommon, veteran → rare, mod → epic, owner or oldest member → legendary. The color ladder your members already read (role colors) maps straight onto card rarity colors.
Give each member a stat line that's actually them
'Meme output: 9', 'Response time: 3AM', 'Times muted: 2'. Specific and a little roasting beats generic — this is the part people screenshot.
Use the Badge template's counter for real numbers
Messages sent, events hosted, server age in days — the Badge template's stat slot wants a real number, and a real number is what makes it feel earned rather than decorative.
Post the share link straight into the channel
Paste the link and Discord renders the card's art and title as a link embed on its own — the card is the announcement, not an attachment to one.
Reserve the legendary for whoever holds the place together
One foil card, for the person the server would fall apart without. Everyone will know who it's for before you post it.
